AI in SureSign

SureSign uses AI analysis in two places, both opt-in and controlled by your organisation administrator:

1. Contract AI analysis — reads an uploaded contract document and extracts key terms, dates, and obligations. See Contract Analysis.
2. Subcontract AI analysis — the same idea, applied to a trade package's subcontract document. See Subcontract Analysis.

There is also a general AI Assistant chat available from the tenant workspace's Tools menu, for open-ended questions and drafting help — this is a separate, general-purpose chat feature rather than the structured contract/ subcontract analysis described above.

AI output is a suggestion, not a decision

Everywhere SureSign uses AI, the output is an extracted or generated suggestion for a person to review. It only becomes part of your project's authoritative data once you confirm it. SureSign does not treat AI output as a legal or contractual determination.

Turning AI on or off

AI features are switched on or off for your organisation by an administrator. If AI is off, the analyse actions on contracts and trade packages will tell you AI features are disabled — contact your organisation administrator if you need this enabled.
