QA Reports¶
What this is¶
Quality assurance inspection records for a project.
Who can use it¶
Any authenticated user with access to the project — including the Client role, not just Admin/Super Admin — can create and manage QA reports.
Where to find it¶
Project → QA Reports.
How to create a QA report¶
- Select Create (or Edit an existing one).
- Enter the Title, Inspection Type, and Area.
- Enter the Inspector and Inspection Date.
- Choose a Status and record the Result.
- Enter Observations and any Corrective Action needed.
- Tick Follow-up Required if applicable.
- Save.
Statuses¶
Draft, Open, Failed, Passed, Closed.
Deleting a QA report¶
A delete action is available, with a confirmation prompt.
Attaching evidence¶
Open a QA report and use the Evidence section to attach inspection photographs and supporting certificates or documents (JPEG, PNG, PDF, and common office document formats). Attach as many files as needed, and preview, download, or remove any attachment individually.
Drawing Locations¶
A QA report may also be created directly from a location on a Drawing — select Create Record → Create QA Report from that location's marker. The location's label, if it has one, suggests a starting value for Area (you can still edit or clear it), and the drawing link is recorded automatically.
If a QA report has been linked to a location on a Drawing (whether created this way or linked to an existing report afterward), a Drawing Locations section on the report shows every drawing location it's linked from, with an Open Drawing action that jumps straight to the correct drawing, revision, and page.
