Statuses

Status Meaning
Open Identified, not yet actioned.
In Progress Being worked on.
Ready for Review Fix completed, awaiting sign-off.
Closed Confirmed resolved. SureSign records the date it was closed.

Closing a snag

Change its status to Closed. SureSign automatically records the closing date/time when this happens.

Editing and deleting

Snags can be edited at any time, and deleted with a confirmation prompt.

Attaching evidence

Open a snag and use the Evidence section to attach defect photographs and supporting documents (JPEG, PNG, PDF, and common office document formats) directly to that snag. Attach as many files as needed. Each attachment can be previewed, downloaded, or removed individually — removing one attachment never affects the others or the snag itself.

Filters

Use the search box and status/priority filters on the Snagging list to find specific snags.

Drawing Locations

A snag may also be created directly from a location on a Drawing — select Create Record → Create Snag from that location's marker. The location's label, if it has one, suggests a starting value for Location (you can still edit or clear it), and the drawing link is recorded automatically — you don't need to link it separately afterward.

If a snag has been linked to a location on a Drawing (whether created this way or linked to an existing snag afterward), a Drawing Locations section on the snag shows every drawing location it's linked from, with an Open Drawing action that jumps straight to the correct drawing, revision, and page.
