Troubleshooting: Uploads¶
"Upload failed. Please try again."¶
This generic message covers several possible causes:
- Unsupported file type — try a different format (see File Restrictions).
- File too large — check against your platform's maximum upload size (50MB by default; your Super Admin can confirm the current limit).
- File content does not match its extension — for example, a file renamed
to
.pdfthat is not really a PDF will be rejected. Re-export the file from its original application and try again. - Unsafe file name — very unusual characters in the file name can cause a rejection; try renaming the file to something simple before uploading.
My file uploaded but I can't find it¶
Check you are looking in the same folder you uploaded it to — see Folders. Organisation-wide and admin document views also show recently uploaded files.
